Greetings to the entire Hillside Community! I personally would like to take this opportunity to welcome back Hillside High School's Faculty, Staff, Families and most importantly, our Students. September represents a month of new beginnings and fresh starts. I hope you took the summer months to read, relax and rejuvenate! As we begin the new school year, I encourage you to take a few moments to reflect on last year and then create a plan to make this school year your best ever!
As we prepare for opening day, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, Parents please note, I am a shared partner in your child's educational experience at Hillside High School. I invite you to visit OUR school to discuss questions or concerns regarding your child's educational experience. Open communication is key to a successful school year! Working together, we can accomplish great things. In addition, September is Attendance Awareness Month. Maintaining attendance is essential to academic success. It is imperative that our students arrive at school on time, each day, prepared to participate in the business of learning. Our motto this year is: "Early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable."
Comets, I look forward to seeing your smiling faces around the school building ready to embark on this year's journey. Let's strive for Academic Scholarship, Extracurricular Excellence and Community Inclusiveness as you continue to rise to greatness like the Comets you are! I wish you all a healthy, productive and exciting school year. Remember, YOU CAN never STOP A COMET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Christine M. Sidwa
